I am a world explorer, blessed with traveling to 87 countries. I have visited Iran twice and can say without hesitation that the Iranian people are some of the warmest, friendliest, most hospitable on the entire planet. Travel to Iran and discover a magical land filled with color, UNESCO sites, architectural wonders, remarkable Shiraz and Esfahan, desert beauty and food.. glorious Persian food.

My Favorite pic from visit to Tacoma Murals Projec My Favorite pic from visit to Tacoma Murals Project...
Artist: Saiyare Rafael @_saikick_ @justseeds
(sadly it tells the story about mistreatment of immigrants and Native Americans... read more below)

Visited Tacoma, WA today. (Just 30 miles south of Seattle) specifically to see some street art. Tacoma had a Tacoma Murals Project. Between 2010 and 2017 more than 20 artists completed 35 murals as well as painting traffic signal boxes. Check out the Tacoma Murals Project at www.cityofTacoma.org. There is a public art tour map which will help you do you own self-guided tour.

Additional Explanation....
The entirety of America is built on genocide of Native Americans and stolen native land. Tacoma WA is the ancestral home of the Puyallup Tribe.

NWDC: Northwest Detention Center
This is a private, for-profit immigrant prison owned by GEO Group on behalf of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

LNG - Liquified Natural Gas
the Puget Sound Energy (PSE) liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility, continues to be built without permits in Tacoma, WA on Medicine Creek Treaty territory. the Puyallup Tribe’s calls for Governor Inslee and the Washington Department of Ecology to initiate a supplemental review that honors the Tribe’s legal rights to consultation, evaluate the changes to the project, and fairly weigh the science of methane pollution from fracked gas infrastructure.
